Corporate Paralegal/Secretary (Hybrid WFH - Chicago)
LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal/Secretary to support our non-profit client's governance activities in Chicago. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-office meetings and events. This W2 Temporary Contractor position is expected to run thru the end of July 2024.
Responsibilities
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, and manage board/committee materials.
Ensure adherence to legal/established governance guidelines.
Facilitate event planning for board meetings.
Maintain accurate records in BoardEffect and SharePoint.
Possess strong proofreading and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Non-profit corporate governance experience a plus.
3 yeas of recent US Corporate Paralegal/Secretary experience (law firm or in-house) required.
Benefits
Competitive pay: $26-$31/hour (DOE)
Hybrid work model (remote with occasional Chicago office visits)
Potential for permanent placement (not guaranteed)
